1944 Alpha Omicron Pi Aott Sorority Pearl Pin MontanaCrown pearl. Alpha omicron pi sorority badge. 1944 ~ montana state university. Beautiful crown pearl badge from aopi ~ aott, founded in 1897. Pearls are full seed pearls, set in crown settings these are not half pearls as are seen so often in the omicron on their badge 18 full seed pearls back of the omicron is open, showing the back of the pearls. Alpha and pi are both chased with the lovely standard engraving. Ruby is at the top of the alpha. Mint condition. Marks on back member's name (revealed only to winning bidder or if you have a name you want to check), alpha phi greek letters, lgb maker's mark for balfour 2-14-1944 initiation date (valentine's day, during world war ii very nice badge for war time). Alpha phi chapter was founded at montana state ni 1917 and is still in existence. Guaranteed at least 10k is gold, btu is not marked. Measures 1/2 tall. Standard pin and clasp perfect working order.
